around verandah they could envision what this one of a kind landmark could
become. As they ventured into the columned main Living Room, stood before the
beautiful walnut fireplace in the Parlor, gazed at the stunning hand-painted
walls of the formal Dining Room, and walked up the sweeping grand staircase
toward the Ballroom on third floor, their dreams took flight. Right then and
there they decided that this once grand, elegant treasure needed to be saved
from the ravages of time and lovingly restored for future generations to
experience and enjoy.
